Studio Manager - 6 Month Project

Job description

We are looking to onboard a Studio Manager to work on an exciting 6 month campaign for MA Design students.
You will need to be a hardworking and experienced individual to be based in this East London Pop Up Location.


The role:

The role will be to manage all aspects of the students collection development process across womenswear, menswear & knitwear
Supervising all students within the studio
Support with fitting and grading garments
Organising any freelance bookings for sample machinists and pattern cutters to support
Manage studio budget
Being the point of contact for all students
The Ideal Candidate:

A love and knowledge of design.
Management experience essential.
Strong technical understanding of garment fit and construction.
Strong organizational skills
Strong understand of health & safety
Extremely responsive e.g. knowing who best to contact should anything in the studio break down.
